The League of Women Voters
Empowering Voters. Defending Democracy.

Today marks the 100th anniversary of the United States Senate passage of the 19th Amendment and, as millions of students are graduating and beginning a new chapter of their lives, we can honor these special occasions by helping to ensure they are ready to walk into the voting booth as well.

Students in the Class of 2019 have demonstrated an enormous capacity to use their voice to affect change and engage in civic affairs—make sure they know that one of the most crucial steps to having your voice heard is registering to vote.

Encourage a recent graduate in your life to take a more active role in our democracy by sending them our eCard and reminding them to register to vote.

Sign the pledge to say #CountMeIn

With elections happening now, it’s up to us to make sure that students and young adults have the tools they need to participate.

Help us empower the graduates of 2019 by reminding them to register to vote—and starting them down the path of lifelong habits of civic participation.
