On Tuesday November 6, voters across the country will head to the polls to cast their ballots in thousands of local, state, and federal elections. I hope you will be one of those voters who turns out to make your voice heard—ensuring you have a say on the critical issues facing your community and our country.

As you think about your plan for voting this year—whether you take advantage or early and absentee voting opportunities in your state, or you vote on November 6—I hope you will encourage your loved ones to make a plan, too.

When, where, and how will you vote?

These are the critical questions to think through now, before Election Day is here. The League is proud to provide VOTE411.org, our one-stop shop for all election-related material. With up-to-the-minute registration deadlines, absentee and early voting information, an unprecedented level of information about the candidates on your ballot, polling place times and locations, and more, VOTE411 is the resource to share with voters in your life.

Who represents your beliefs?

Up and down the ballot, candidates are asking you to hire them to represent you. You have important decisions to make about who to elect to lead your community and our country.

Encourage your friends and family to enter their address at VOTE411.org to build a personalized voting guide that includes which offices and ballot questions they’ll see when they vote, as well as nearby candidate debates and forums happening all over the country. Currently, VOTE411.org includes more than 17,500 candidate and ballot measure details and this number continues to grow daily. It allows voters to compare candidate responses to League questions so you can decide who will best represent your beliefs—and we’ve already seen record-breaking numbers of voters seeking out our information.

This is a pivotal year for our country. And there is an undeniable current of excitement, with nearly unprecedented voter turnout in the primaries and the most diverse group of candidates running for office in history.
