Empowering Voters. Defending Democracy.

Dear Friend,

The Supreme Court is about to hear oral arguments for a blockbuster case that could undermine the voting rights of millions – Husted v. A. Philip Randolph Institute.

A bad ruling could allow states hostile toward voting rights to undermine the National Voter Registration Act by purging voters from the rolls. Secretary of State Jon Husted in Ohio, where the case originated, has already purged tens of thousands of voters.

Join friends, allies, and elected leaders for a rally at the Supreme Court to celebrate the right to vote, sing our protest songs, and resist cynical attacks on our democracy.

When: Wednesday, January 10, 2018 | 9:30 – 11:30am
Where: Supreme Court of the United States, 1 First St NE, Washington, DC 20543

The time is now to say enough is enough! RSVP to stand up for voting rights today. LWVUS staff will have branded signs available on site.

We will not be idle as enemies of our democracy work to keep thousands of Americans from exercising their right to vote.

See you at the Supreme Court!
