Support Senate Bill 6087 - Cap Insulin Costs

Health plans issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2021 must cap out-of-pocket expenses for a 30-day supply of insulin at $100, and HCA must monitor the price of insulin. This bill scheduled for an executive session in the Senate Committee on Ways and Means on Feruary 5, 2020 at 3:30 pm. Take action today to send your message to that Committee. The League of Women Voters supports this bill to protect diabetics in our state from over pricing. 

On Feb. 5, 2020, SB 6087 was voted DO PASS by the Senate Ways and Means Committee. Urge your legislator to bring SB 6087 to a vote on the floor.
